Open Development Cambodia (ODC) Published a new dataset on “Building footprints in Phnom Penh”. This dataset contains information about building footprint in Phnom Penh. Building footprints can be used for a variety of essential purposes, including population estimation, urban planning, and humanitarian response, as well as environmental and climate science. In order to support these types of uses, this large-scale open dataset contains the outlines of buildings derived from high-resolution satellite imagery. The project is based in Ghana, with an initial focus on the continent of Africa and new updates on South Asia, South-East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. This dataset was downloaded in a Cambodian region cell and then clipped by Phnom Penh border.
